San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker suffered cuts hanging as an innocent bystander last Thursday at 4 a.m. when a brawl pitting jackass R&B artists Drake and Chris Brown erupted at the W.i.P. club in SoHo.
“I was there with a bunch of friends when a fight broke out. They started to throw bottles about… I got it all,” said Parker, 30, a four-time All-Star who earned the 2007 NBA Finals MVP.
“The cornea has been touched. I can’t do anything for seven days,” said Parker. “But I was lucky. The injury won’t prevent me from competing in the Olympics in any way.”
According to multiple accounts, the incident stemmed from the crooners’ mutual love of fellow R&B singer Rihanna.
The 23-year-old Brown, a streetwise badass who was born and raised in the small town of Tappahannock, Virginia, apparently sent a bottle of champagne to Drake’s table to “bury the hatchet.”
In response, the classy 25-year-old native of Toronto returned the bottle to the notorious domestic abuser with a note that read, “I’m f*****g the love of your life (Rihanna), deal with it.”
A source told US Weekly that the 24-year-old Rihanna, who was brutally battered by Brown in February 2009, “loves this!”
The Barbadian reportedly “loves the drama” and the notion of “men fighting over her.”
Tony Parker, Chris Brown, Drake and Rihanna are a quartet from Lucifer and it’s truly sad, and scary, that many kids consider such losers to be role models.by
