Expecting to ‘get faster and more efficient with his stride,’ San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is destined for greatness

Colin Kaepernick reportedly beat a Ford Pinto in a race across the Golden Gate Bridge.

Already able to run like a Jamaican sprinter, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick expects to “get faster and more efficient with his stride.”

Completing the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds at the 2011 combine, the 25-year-old Kaepernick spent two weeks training with track athletes this offseason.

Supplanting a concussed Alex Smith in November, the 6-foot-5, 230 pound Kaepernick tossed 10 touchdowns, against three interceptions, for 1,814 yards in seven starts.

Kaepernick additionally rushed for 415 yards and five scores on 63 attempts.

Successfully enlivening and diversifying the 49ers’ attack, the former Wolf Pack star led San Francisco to Super Bowl XLVII last February.

Surrounded by dynamic playmakers and backed by a solid defense, Colin Kaepernick will become a renowned artist on the gridiron this autumn in “The Paris of the West.”
