In a historic outing, future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning dissected the Baltimore Ravens in the Broncos’ 49-27 victory Thursday night at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Completing 26-of-41 passes for 452 yards and an astounding seven touchdowns, the 37-year-old Manning looked more dominant than ever.

After missing the entire 2011 campaign to recover from an alarming four neck surgeries in 19 months, Manning thrived in 2012 and tossed 37 scores, against 11 picks, for 4,659 yards while leading the Broncos to a 13-3 mark.

Regrettably for Manning and Broncos fans, the deserving member of the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team also fueled Denver’s 38-35 playoff loss to the underdog Ravens last January.

With Ravens defenders reportedly believing Manning was incapable of throwing downfield with any distance or velocity, the first overall choice in the 1998 draft got intercepted by Baltimore cornerback Corey Graham on the second possession of overtime to hasten top-seeded Denver’s dirt nap.

Now battling Brett Favre to become the king of postseason shortcomings with a 9-11 record, Manning is similar to a likable version of Alex Rodriguez without “Bitch Tits.”

Inking Wes Welker to a two-year contract worth $12 million on March 13, Manning now has an even more imposing trio of targets.

As one of the premier signal-callers in the annals of football, the four-time AP NFL MVP needs to direct Denver to their first title since 1998.

If the five-time First-Team All-Pro fails in the playoffs for a 12th time this winter, Manning will be widely considered one of the preeminent choke artists in recent memory.

Teaming the all-time receptions leader in Patriots history with Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker, Peyton Manning can either further his legend or become a notorious princess in the “Queen City of the West.”
