Juicehead Melky Cabrera is the newest member of the Toronto Blue Jays capable of helping the organization to its first title since 1993

With or without needles, Melky Cabrera is a quality ballplayer.

The Toronto Blue Jays remained aggressive this weekend by inking sneaky juicehead Melky Cabrera to a two-year contract worth $16 million.

Cabrera, a 28-year-old who won the All-Star Game MVP Award in July, had a major league-leading 159 hits and was second in the National League with a .346 batting average before getting snagged with dirty piss, will join jettisoned Miami Marlins Jose Reyes Josh Johnson and Mark Buehrle in the “Queen City.”

“Leche,” who has compiled 69 homers, 417 RBI and 995 hits with a .284 batting average since debuting as a professional with the New York Yankees in 2005, is a very capable ballplayer who can help the Blue Jays (73-89) advance to the playoffs for the first time since winning consecutive titles in 1993.

The blacklisted Giant, who was pinched on August 15 after testing positive for high levels of testosterone, rightly relinquished his batting title to former San Francisco teammate Buster Posey.

Cabrera cheated countless fans, and the sport itself, and he will never again be a truly respected MLB employee.

Nevertheless, Melky Cabrera is a seemingly decent guy who deserves one chance for redemption with the Blue Jays in Toronto.
