New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow could be a Comeback Player of the Year candidate

Jets tight end Kellen Winslow flourished in New York’s 18-17 victory Sunday over the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Signed to a one-year contract in June, the 30-year-old Winslow finished with seven catches for 79 yards and a touchdown against Tampa Bay’s solid secondary. Expected to be a gimpy bastard unable to spread the field, the 6-foot-4, 240 pound Winslow publicly stated his goal of amassing 100 receptions this season.
