Will Kellen Moore, and not Matthew Stafford, exorcise the “Curse of Bobby Layne?”

Former Boise State University signal-caller Kellen Moore signed a free agent contract with the Detroit Lions Saturday night shortly after he went unselected in the 2012 NFL Draft. The 22-year-old Moore, who as a collegiate star threw 142 touchdowns, in comparison to a measly 28 interceptions, for 14,667 Yards, went 50-3 as the Broncos’ starter since 2008. Moore, a two-time All-American and 2010 Heisman Trophy finalist, is the winningest quarterback in the annals of Division I-A college football.
