World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2022 Schedule:
The Curling Championship started on April 23 and the tournament will play its final game on 30 April. From April 23, Saturday to April 28, Thursday – Robin Round. There will be 18 draws in the Robin Round.
Qualifications games 1 and 2 will be played on April 29, Friday.
On the same day, April 29 Friday- semifinals 1 and 2 will take place.
And on the April 30 Saturday – Final match.
2022 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship pool standings
The 20 groups are parted into two pools of 10, with every crew playing nine cooperative games. The best three groups from each pool will progress to an extended season finisher round.
The primary spot finishers in each pool get a programmed billet in the elimination rounds. The second-and third-place groups in each pool advance to capability games. The runner up in Group A will play the third-place group in Pool B, and the runner up in Pool B will play the third-place group in Pool A.
The champs of those challenges will move to the elimination rounds. The elimination round champs will play for the gold award. The elimination round failures will clash for the bronze award.
The base groups in each gathering will be consigned to the World Mixed Double Qualification Event for next season. Moreover, the eighth-and ninth-place groups in each pool will play transfer games, with the No. 8 group from Pool A playing the No. 9 group from Pool B as well as the other way around. The washouts of those games will likewise be consigned.
Russia was taken out from the competition by the World Curling Federation because of the country’s attack of Ukraine. Spain took its spot in the competition.
China pulled out from the competition on account of continuous travel limitations connected with COVID-19. It was supplanted by Denmark.
