Semi-finalists at Euro 2020 and having beaten world champions France earlier this year, the Danes look a safe bet for the tag of dark horses.
Clearly, things rarely work out as simply as that, but they are a well-organised outfit boosted by quality in key areas, namely Christian Eriksen.
Denmark went undefeated in World Cup qualifying, but the player to watch will be Tunisia’s 19-year-old Hannibal Mejbri, who made his senior debut with Manchester United just last year.
